What changes your number
No two cars cost the same to detail. A few things move the price:
- Vehicle size — a compact car and a full-size SUV take different time and product.
- Current condition — pet hair, road salt buildup, smoke residue (what a detail can and cannot do about smoke), or anything beyond normal wear takes more work to remove than routine dirt.
- How far you take it — a quick refresh costs less than a deeper restoration.
Zachariah inspects your car in person before naming a price. Once he gives you that number, it's the number you pay — nothing added on after the fact.

Worth saying how that last part is known, because a lot of sites get it wrong. Google rounds a rating to one decimal, so at 34 reviews a single four-star one would still display as 5.0. The average alone proves nothing. What was read is the star-by-star breakdown behind it, and on 13 September 2026 it showed 34 fives and nothing else.
Highly recommended! He said my car would look like it’s in a showroom and he kept his word! Not only did he do one of my cars he did 2, and I even gave him a referal. Doesn’t take shortcuts took the time to make sure every detail was taken care of. Don’t think twice just say yes!

Before you send it
Does the quote include tax?
Yes — the number Zachariah gives you after your inspection is the final number, and any tax is spelled out clearly in that quote. Nothing gets added afterward.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the package and your car's condition. Interior Refresh usually takes 1–3 hours, with carpet or seat shampooing pushing it toward the longer end. Full Detail runs 2–3.5 hours. Showroom + Protect adds decontamination and sealant work on top of the Full Detail scope, so Zachariah gives you the window for your car when he quotes it. Heavier soiling or a larger vehicle can add another 30–60 minutes on top of any of these ranges.
Do you come to condos or apartments with no driveway?
Yes — SoloSpa is 100% mobile across the GTA, so wherever your car is parked is where the work happens.
Do you offer ceramic coating or paint correction?
Showroom + Protect includes a ceramic-grade sealant: silica-based chemistry that beads water and holds gloss through a season of road salt. It is not a semi-permanent coating sold on two to five years, and Zachariah does not do multi-stage paint correction. If that is what your car needs, he will point you at a coating installer instead of selling you this.
Are you insured? Who's actually showing up to detail my car?
Zachariah quotes your car and he is the one who turns up for it — some visits on his own, some with one other person working alongside him. Nobody gets sent to you from a dispatch pool, and you are not handed to a technician you have never spoken to. SoloSpa carries general liability and garage keepers coverage, and he's happy to show proof of coverage before you book if you'd like to see it.
Do you tip a car detailer?
Not expected. Zachariah gives you one firm figure after the free inspection, and that number is the whole arrangement. There is no service-industry expectation built into it that a tip is meant to top up. People do ask, because tipping norms in Canada get unclear once you are outside restaurants, so here is the plain version: it is optional, declining is a normal outcome, and nothing about the work changes either way.
